As per reports, the Moscow City Portal announced that traffic and parking is expected to be temporarily restricted across several central embankments and streets on Saturday (05 September), to accommodate the Walking Day festival and the Moscow Sprint roller ski competition.
• The restrictions are expected to affect Luzhniki Street, Smolenskaya Embankment, Rostovskaya Embankment, Savvinskaya Embankment, Novodevichy Embankment and Luzhnetskaya Embankment.
• Luzhniki Street os expected to be closed from 0001 hours local time on Saturday (05 September) (2101 hours UTC on 04 September) to 1700 hours local time (1400 hours UTC). From 0400 hours local time (0300 hours UTC) to 1700 hours local time (1400 hours UTC), traffic is expected to be closed on Smolenskaya Embankment and Rostovskaya Embankment.
• Savvinskaya Embankment is expected to be closed from 0600 hours local time (0300 hours UTC) to 1700 hours local time (1400 hours UTC), while Novodevichy Embankment and Luzhnetskaya Embankment is expected to be closed from 0800 hours local time (0500 hours UTC) to 1700 hours local time (1400 hours UTC).
• In addition, from 0001 hours local time on Thursday (03 September) (2101 hours UTC on 02 September) until the end of the events, one extreme-right lane on Rostovskaya Embankment towards Novodevichy Embankment is expected to be unavailable.
• Parking is also expected to be prohibited in the areas where restrictions are introduced from 0001 hours local time on Saturday (05 September) (2101 hours UTC on 04 September) until the end of the events.
