As per reports, traffic authorities will implement temporary road closures, vehicle restrictions, and traffic diversions in Vũng Tàu City and central Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon ward) to facilitate the 38th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup 2026 scheduled on Friday (24 April). Key traffic measures include:
• In Vũng Tàu on Friday (24 April), restrictions will be in place between 0630–0930 hours (local time):
• Affected roads: Quang Trung, Trần Phú, Hạ Long and surrounding sections.
• Restrictions: Temporary vehicle bans at key access points, including near Hoa Tiêu Tân Cảng Company (18 Trần Phú) and Hải Vân Pagoda (Hạ Long Road).
• Motorists are urged to use local and secondary roads to avoid the Quang Trung–Trần Phú–Hạ Long corridor during the race window.
• In Ho Chi Minh City, restrictions will be in place between 0000 on Sunday (26 April) and 2359 on Thursday (30 April):
• Affected area: Lê Duẩn Road, from Phạm Ngọc Thạch Street to Pasteur Street, Saigon ward.
• Alternative routes: Identified via Phạm Ngọc Thạch, Alexandre de Rhodes, Công xã Paris, Hàn Thuyên, Pasteur, and Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa streets.
• Traffic police will deploy personnel to manage flows and adjust routing in real time to minimise disruption to daily activities.
