As per reports, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary traffic closure on a section of the Nairobi-bound carriageway of Mombasa Road (A8) from 2100 hours local time (1800 hours UTC) on Saturday (20 June) to 1000 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) on Sunday (21 June).
• The temporary closure is scheduled to take place between the Airtel Complex and General Motors to facilitate the installation of fabricated beams for the Airtel Footbridge.
• KeNHA has stated that traffic management plans will be deployed and motorists will be guided by traffic marshals and police officers to alternative routes during the installation works.
