As per reports, teachers gathered at Place Kléber after 1400 hours local time on Thursday (01 February) as part of the national call for a strike in National Education. Shortly after 1430 hours local time on Thursday (01 February), there were more than a thousand of them in the procession.

Another demonstration was scheduled for 1430 hours local time on Thursday (01 February) in Mulhouse, Place de la Bourse.
