As per reports, Sydney Airport refuellers have called off the strike scheduled for Wednesday (31 July) following Tuesday afternoon’s (30 July) negotiations between a Transport Workers Union (TWU) bargaining team and Ampol Aviation, which resulted in a more favorable proposal on pay and job security. While some issues remain unresolved, the refuellers have agreed to resume negotiations with Ampol on Friday (02 August) to address these outstanding items.
