As per reports, authorities are investigating a suspicious device in Granite Bay on Wednesday (02 April). The device was found at approximately 1000 hours (local time) on Hidden Lakes Drive, prompting a response from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team.

Eight nearby homes have been advised to shelter in place. The entrance to Hidden Lakes Estates from Douglas Boulevard is closed, and Douglas Boulevard is also closed at Mooney Road.
