• Local authorities stated that flooding conditions are expected to worsen overnight and continue into Wednesday (15 July).
• Reef Road ford crossing near Oturehua has been closed due to flooding, while Danseys Pass remains closed from the gates near the hotel.
• Authorities have urged motorists to exercise particular caution in Ida Valley and Oturehua, Wedderburn, St Bathans, Kyeburn, and Matakanui/Omakau, where rivers and streams have overflowed.
