As per reports, 220 students from Oxford, Cambridge, and University College London, have initiated a ‘career boycott’ against Barclays, expressing concerns over the bank’s climate action policies and its financial support for fossil fuel companies.
Students argue that Barclays’ decarbonization targets lack credibility due to its continued financing of fossil fuel companies highlighting the rollback of commitments by major oil firms, including Shell, Total, and BP.
