As per reports, a student-led demonstration occurred at the Padang District Attorney’s Office (Kejari Padang) in West Sumatra around 1500 hours (local time) on Friday (10 July).

Protesters gathered under the theme “No One is Immune to the Law”, calling for transparency in ongoing legal proceedings and the arrest of Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah.

• Some demonstrators reportedly burned tires, generating smoke near the protest site, while police personnel were deployed to maintain security and manage the gathering.
• As of 1616 hours (local time), traffic was moving slowly in the vicinity, and no road closures have been reported.
