Strong winds and dust alert issued across UAE on Tuesday (07 April)

As per reports, weather conditions on Tuesday (07 April) are expected to be fair to partly cloudy across parts of UAE including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.

• According to the National Centre of Meteorology, moderate to fresh northwesterly winds are forecast, with speeds ranging between 15 and 30 kilometers per hour and reaching up to 50 kilometers per hour at times, particularly over the sea.
• These wind conditions are expected to generate blowing dust and sand, especially in eastern, northern, and internal regions of the country.
• As a result, horizontal visibility may be reduced to less than 3000 meters in certain areas during peak conditions.
• A dust alert has been issued from 0930 hours local time (0530 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (1500 hours UTC) indicating periods of intensified wind activity and associated environmental effects.
• Temperatures are expected to remain moderate, with lows around 21 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and approximately 22 degrees Celsius in Dubai and Sharjah. Daytime highs are forecast to reach around 26 degrees Celsius across these major urban areas.
