As per reports, staff at several colleges in Glasgow have scheduled a strike action on 29 February 2024. More than 2000 members of support staff including librarians, IT specialists, administrators, cleaners, canteen workers, and estate management staff are likely to take part in the strike action.

The colleges likely to remain affected by the strike action include City of Glasgow College, Glasgow Clyde College, Glasgow Kelvin College, New College Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire College, and West College Scotland.
