As per reports, a 24-hour strike by Trasporto Pubblico Locale (Tpl) Linea workers is scheduled for Monday (08 September) in Savona, Italy, with employees demanding fair hiring practices, an end to subcontracting, and a concrete investment plan for bus renewal and maintenance.
The industrial action will be accompanied by a demonstration in Piazza Sisto, where workers are calling for a meeting with Savona Mayor Marco Russo. The strike will affect services in specific time slots: from 0000 hours to 0500 hours (local time), from 0830 hours to 1730 hours (local time), and from 2000 hours to 2359 hours (local time).
