As per reports, Radio France employees have voted to hold a new strike on Monday (21 September) in opposition to the recruitment of Charles Sapin as a political commentator on France Inter.
• Reports indicate that the strike follows previous industrial action on 13 September and 14 September, which disrupted programming on France Inter, France Culture and, to a lesser extent, franceinfo.
• Reportedly, the dispute concerns the appointment of Charles Sapin, deputy editor-in-chief of Valeurs actuelles, as a political commentator on France Inter.
• Reports indicate that Sapin has presented a weekly political editorial on France Inter since 30 August.
• Radio France’s official mediator page confirms ongoing audience feedback concerning the strike following the previous two-day industrial action.
