As per reports, a 17-year-old youth was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed at a shopping center on Malop Street in Geelong, southwest of Melbourne at around 1530 hours (local time) on Thursday (19 February).
Police believe that another person involved in the altercation that led to the stabbing, along with several bystanders. Police believe that the suspect and bystanders fled the scene towards Yarra Street. A crime scene has been established in the mall and the surrounding area as the probe is underway.
