Special weather statement in effect in parts of Ontario for Tuesday (05 March)

As per reports, Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement due to forecast of rainfall and snowfall across northeastern Ontario till Tuesday (05 March) afternoon.

• Local rainfall amounts of up to 30 mm are expected, while rainfall is likely to be mixed with or change over to snow during the morning hours, with local snowfall amounts of five cm are possible.
• Areas covered under the special weather statement include Elliot Lake, Ranger Lake, Greater Sudbury and vicinity, Kirkland Lake, Temiskaming Shores, and Temagami among others.
