As per reports, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has announced special traffic management, security, and movement restrictions across Dhaka to facilitate the smooth conduct of the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), which is scheduled to commence on Thursday (02 July).
The measures will remain in effect throughout the examination period to ensure the safety, maintain public order, and minimize traffic congestion around examination centers.
• Additionally, the examinations will commence at 1000 hours (local time) and will be held at 309 examination centers throughout the city.
• The DMP has also prohibited parking on roads adjacent to examination centers, warning that vehicles violating the restriction will face strict legal action.
• Commuters who are not examination candidates have been advised to avoid roads near examination centers between 0730 and 1000 hours (local time) each examination day unless travel is essential.
