Snowfall forecast issued for parts in Canada on Sunday (18 February)

As per reports, Environment Canada anticipates the occurrence of squalls accompanied by strong wind gusts in the southwest, the Laurentians, and the eastern region of the Quebec province through Sunday (18 February).

• Snowfall of up to four cm is expected on the south shore and towards Montreal, and up to 10 cm in the Laurentians, and in the West.
• In the Quebec region as well as in the Bas-Saint-Lauren, snowfall of up to four cm is likely.
• Snowfall of up to 15 cm and wind gusts of up to 70 km/h are anticipated in the cities of Orillia, Lagoon City, Washago, Barrie, Collingwood, and Hillsdale through Sunday (18 February) night.
