As per reports, an assault incident involving a minor girl was reported at about 1330 hours (local time) on Saturday (04 April) in Ramdevra town, Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan.

• An approximately 11-12-year-old girl was attacked with a sharp blade by a middle-aged man while returning home from school. The accused allegedly attempted to abduct the girl, and upon resistance, inflicted injuries to her neck using a blade.
• The injured girl was initially taken to Ramdevra Government Hospital and later referred to Pokaran District Hospital due to the severity of injuries. Police have registered a case, detained the suspect, and initiated further investigation.
