As per reports, a shooting incident occurred near Liberty Road and Staples Street in Houston’s Fifth Ward at approximately 2220 hours local time on Tuesday (15 September) (0320 hours UTC on 16 September).
• According to the Houston Police Department (HPD), the victim became involved in a confrontation with an unidentified individual before being shot.
• The victim called for assistance after returning home from the incident location. The shooter has not been identified, and the Houston Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
