As per reports, on Saturday (03 January), one person was fatally shot in DeKalb County, Georgia. Officers from the DeKalb County Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 2400 block of Candler Road during the morning hours, approximately at around 0930 hours local time (1430 hours UTC).
Police stated that the victim was located nearby on Kelly Lake Drive, a short distance from the initial call location. The identity of the victim has not been released. Authorities have not identified any suspects in connection with the incident. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
