As per reports, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is investigating a report that a masked gunman fired a shot at a residential property in the Half Acre Lane area of Newtownards, County Down, on Tuesday (16 June) night.
• Police received a report at approximately 2326 hours local time (2326 hours UTC) on Tuesday (16 June) of a broken window at a property in the Half Acre Lane area. Officers attended the address, where the damage was subsequently determined to have been caused by a gunshot.
• Enquiries are ongoing as of 1100 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) on Wednesday (17 June). The PSNI has appealed for anyone who was in the area at the time, or who holds relevant information including dash-cam, CCTV, or other footage, to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1891 of 16/06/26.
