As per reports, a shooting occurred at the intersection of Evergreen Avenue and Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach, San Diego County, California on Sunday (21 December).

• The San Diego Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a commercial burglary with an audible alarm in the 1000 block of Ocean Lane at approximately 1353 hours local time (2153 hours UTC), following which a deputy-involved shooting incident was reported.
• As of 1515 hours local time (2315 hours UTC), the authorities have stated that there is no immediate threat to the public but have urged residents and motorists to avoid the area due to ongoing police activity.
