As per reports, a large fire was reported in the southern neighbourhoods of Hamashkoreb in Kassala on Wednesday (04 June).
• The incident occurred during daytime hours. The fire caused significant losses to livestock and property, while no fatalities have been confirmed.
• The firefighting efforts are reportedly being hindered due to limited water availability and constrained local resources. The assessment teams are evaluating the extent of the damage.
