As per reports, three explosions were reported in central Tehran at approximately 0945 hours local time (0615 hours UTC) on Saturday (28 February).

Initial reports indicate several missiles struck areas near University Street and the Republic (Jomhouri) district in central Tehran.

• Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz had announced the launch of preemptive strike against Iran. He indicated that the strikes were intended to remove ‘threats to Israel’.
• Additionally, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) Home Front Command has imposed restrictions nationwide. Following assessments, the military has prohibited all educational activities, gatherings, and work, except for essential sectors.
• As of 0830 hours local time (0630 hours UTC), Israel has closed its airspace to civilian fights and is to remain closed until further notice.
