Situational update on explosion reported in Temple on Tuesday (01 October)

As per reports, five people were injured in an explosion reported in a building on the rear of the Delta Centrifugal casting manufacturing plant, located at 3402 Center Street in Temple, Texas, on Tuesday (01 October). The explosion was reported at approximately 1130 hours local time.

Crews discovered heavy smoke and flames coming from the building. Workers in the plant were evacuated immediately. The cause of the explosion is unknown.
