As per reports, a North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) F-16 fighter jet intercepted a general aviation aircraft that entered restricted airspace over Thurmont, Maryland, near Camp David, at approximately 0750 hours local time (1150 hours UTC) on Saturday (19 September).
• President Donald Trump had arrived at Camp David on Friday (18 September) and was scheduled to remain at the presidential retreat through the weekend.
• A permanent no-fly zone applies over Camp David, with expanded Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) activated when the President is staying at the retreat.
• The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) TFR associated with the presidential visit was instituted at 1959 hours local time (2359 hours UTC) on Friday (18 September) and was scheduled to remain in effect until at least 1000 hours local time (1400 hours UTC) on Sunday (20 September).
• The civilian aircraft was safely escorted out of the restricted area.
