As per reports, a shooting incident took place in East Garfield Park area of Chicago around 1015 hours (local time) on Wednesday (31 January), that resulted in the death of one person and injuries to another.

• The incident took place when the victims where approached by an unknown vehicle from where the suspects opened fire near North Kedzie Avenue and West Fulton Boulevard.
• After being attacked, the victims drove north and crashed in the 300-block of North Kedzie.
• One of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene, while another was taken to Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
• According to police, the suspects drove away after the attack. No one has been taken into custody so far, while investigations by Area Three detectives are ongoing.
