As per reports, the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) has announced to stage statewide protests in Telangana on Thursday (27 June) against the suspension of five students of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) for allegedly attacking the Vice-Chancellor’s residence during a protest. SFI members stated they would burn effigies of the UoH and Vice-Chancellor for the suspension and the fines imposed.
