Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) has issued a severe weather warning for parts of New South Wales (NSW) on Thursday (27 March). Moderate to heavy rainfall is developing about northwestern New South Wales through the night. Locations which may be affected include Cobar, Bourke, Wanaaring, Lightning Ridge, Brewarrina and Enngonia.
Moderate to heavy rainfall may lead to flash flooding and develop around parts of the Upper Western overnight, extending to the northern reaches of the Central West Slopes and Plains on Friday (28 March) afternoon. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 30 and 50 mm are likely, with isolated falls of up to 80 mm possible. 24-hourly rainfall totals of between 50 to 100 mm are likely, with isolated totals of up to 130 mm possible.
