As per reports, schools under Brentwood School District, Pittsburgh have been placed under a modified lockdown on Wednesday (31 January) morning as police investigate a shooting incident in the area.

• The shooting was reported around 0900 hours (local time) on Wednesday (31 January) at the 100 block of Hillson Avenue.
• Upon arrival at the site, Allegheny County Police confirmed that a victim was found with gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
• The police identified the suspect and briefly chased a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle driven by the suspect. However, the suspect remains at large and a search operation by multiple agencies continues.
• All three schools under the district has been placed under modified lockdown, due to which no one will be allowed to enter or leave the buildings until the lockdown is lifted.
