As per reports, Mexican Army and Sinaloa State Preventive Police forces seized 2,420 rounds of ammunition, 172 improvised explosive devices, 12 firearm magazines, tactical equipment and communications technology in La Guásima, Concordia municipality, Sinaloa, on Wednesday (19 August).
The seizure was conducted during a security operation in the mountainous area. The recovered material also included tactical vests, ballistic plates, drone batteries, satellite communication equipment and power-generation equipment.
• The seized material is planned to be transferred to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office for investigation. No arrests or clashes were reported in the available information.
