As per reports, authorities have announced security and crowd management measures in Jordan town, Guimaras, for the “Taltal sa Balaan Bukid” (Crucifixion on the Holy Mountain) event scheduled on Friday (03 April) on the occasion of Good Friday.

The event is expected to commence at approximately 1200 hours (local time), with a procession starting from the municipal hall and proceeding towards Balaan Bukid.

• Authorities have planned the deployment of approximately 356 security personnel, including police, fire services, coast guard, and local support groups.
• Multiple checkpoints will be established from local wharves to Balaan Bukid to regulate movement and manage crowd flow.
• Increased monitoring measures will be implemented to address potential petty crimes and ensure the orderly conduct of the event.
