As per reports, Section 163 has been imposed in Kanpur in view of the upcoming festivities, by-elections, and competitive exams, from Tuesday (22 October) onwards.
The nomination process for the by-election to be held on Sisamau assembly seat, with strict security within the 200 meters radius of the nomination site. Gathering crowds and campaigning around the polling site has been banned by the authorities. Strict actions will be taken against any individual violating the guidelines issued by the authorities.
