As per reports, BC Hydro has scheduled eight planned power outages in Richmond this week for equipment maintenance and replacement from Monday (06 January) to Friday (10 January).
• The planned outages aim to prevent unplanned emergency outages caused by equipment failure or malfunction.
• On Monday (06 January) outages are expected to occur from, 0800 hours (local time) to 1600 hours (local time) at Williams road, Fraserwood Way, Steveston highway, Railway avenue (Unit 1 to 17), and 15040 Williams road (fewer than five customers); and from 0900 hours (local time) to 1700 hours (local time) at Rosebrook road.
• On Thursday (09 January) from 0900 hours (local time) to 1700 hours (local time) outages are scheduled for 10811 Bridgeport road.
• On Friday (10 January) outages are scheduled from 0900 hours (local time) to 1800 hours (local time) at 11080/11100/11120 Bridgeport road.
