As per reports, the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd. (TNPDCL) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of Tiruchirappalli from 0945 to 1600 hours (local time) on Tuesday (14 July) to facilitate maintenance works at the Mainguard Gate, Kambarasampettai, and Manikandam substations.
• The outage will affect several residential, commercial, and industrial areas, including Karur Bypass, Old Karur Road, Chathiram Bus Stand, Chinthamani, Woraiyur, Kambarasampettai, Cauvery Nagar, Jeeyapuram, Ariyamangalam, Thendral Nagar, Manikandam, Nagamangalam, Mathur, and surrounding localities.
• The outage will also impact drinking water pumping stations serving Golden Rock, HAPP, and the Ramanathapuram Cauvery Drinking Water Supply Scheme.
