The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has forecast cloudy skies with scattered rainfall and thunderstorms over large parts of the Philippines on Wednesday (15 October).
• Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and provinces including Isabela, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Capiz, Aklan, Cebu, and Bohol will experience moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall, which may lead to flash floods or landslides, particularly in low-lying and mountainous areas.
• The rest of Luzon and Visayas will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with possible localized severe thunderstorms that may cause short-duration flooding or landslides.
• Mindanao is also forecast to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with similar risks of flash floods or landslides during intense rain episodes.
