As per reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to arrive in Delhi on Friday (11 September) for a three-day state visit to participate in the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit and the 18th BRICS Leaders’ Summit. Advance teams and Russian military transport aircraft have already begun landing at the newly operational Noida International Airport in preparation for the visit.

Following are the further details:

• Friday (11 September): Arrival in Delhi followed by a private, informal dinner with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
• Saturday (12 September): A formal ceremonial welcome by President Droupadi Murmu, followed by bilateral summit discussions at Hyderabad House, a dedicated business forum, and a state banquet.
• Sunday (13 September): Multi-lateral meetings and participation in the BRICS Leaders’ Summit.
• The leaders will address the expansion of bilateral trade, long-term energy security, and hold strategic exchanges regarding the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia.
