As per reports, a working visit by the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, to Minsk is scheduled from Sunday (14 June) to Monday (15 June).
• Reports indicate that the programme includes an audience with the President of Belarus, A.G. Lukashenko, and official talks with the Foreign Minister of Belarus, M.V. Ryzhenkov, in both narrow and expanded formats, along with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Victory Monument.
• Meetings are expected to address bilateral cooperation, foreign policy coordination, and integration processes within the Union State framework.
• Discussions include preparations for a joint foreign ministry board meeting in the fourth quarter and a planned foreign policy coordination programme for 2027 to 2029.
• Engagements also cover coordination within Eurasian organisations and approaches towards external partnerships and sanctions-related matters.
