Roof slab collapse incident reported in Ulhasnagar – Sunday (16 August)

As per reports, a concrete ceiling slab collapsed inside a residential flat at Kumaon Apartment in the Saibaba Nagar area of Camp No. 03, Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, during the afternoon hours (local time) on Sunday (16 August), injuring one resident.

The Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation emergency department and fire brigade personnel were deployed to the site following the incident. As a precautionary measure, the municipal administration evacuated all residents from Kumaon Apartment due to concerns regarding the structural safety of the building.
