As per reports, the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) protest at SM Joshi Bridge in Pune entered its eleventh day on Sunday (11 October). Member of the Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra, Rohit Pawar, issued a one-day ultimatum to the state government, asking it to meet the protesting students or initiate talks with them by 1900 hours (local time) on Sunday (11 October).
He further stated that failure to address the demands would result in an intensified protest in Pune from Monday (12 October). He also warned that the agitation could expand beyond MPSC aspirants, with local residents potentially joining the movement. Further details are awaited.
