As per reports, a rockslide took place near the Green Park Inn, Blowing Rock on Thursday (11 April) night, which resulted in the closure of US 321 highway.
• According to Caldwell County Sheriff officials and Blowing Rock Police, the incident took place near the Caldwell/Watauga county line around Rock Road.
• Blowing Rock Police stated that the road is expected to remain closed to traffic through Friday (12 April) morning as North Carolina Department of Transportation officials work with their equipment to move the rock in the area.
