As per reports, Bernalillo County authorities announced a full closure of the Second Street and Rio Bravo Boulevard intersection in Albuquerque for construction work from Wednesday (18 June) to Sunday (22 June).
• The project includes widening the road to six lanes (three in each direction), improving sidewalks, and upgrading railroad tracks.
• Traffic will be diverted toward Woodward Road during the closure.
• While full closures will be intermittent, the entire construction is expected to continue until December 2025.
