As per reports, Austin-Travis County emergency medical services (EMS) are responding to a “major collision” near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Tuesday (04 March) afternoon.
The crash happened near State Highway 71 and Presidential Boulevard, adjacent to the airport. Airport officials confirmed Presidential Boulevard is closed until further notice, with those heading to the airport advised to use Spirit of Texas Drive to reach the terminal.
• Two adult patients have been transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, with one reportedly having critical, life-threatening injuries and the other having potentially serious injuries, medics said.
• Those traveling along SH 71 near the airport are advised to anticipate delays.
