As per reports, a road closure on New York Avenue (State Route 110) has been announced for Huntington, NY, starting on Monday (07 July) at 2200 hours (local time), and will last until 0600 hours (local time) on Tuesday (08 July).

The closure will be in effect on both directions of State Route 110, between High Street and Prime Avenue. Signed detours will be in place to guide motorists to alternate routes during closure hours:

• Northbound traffic: High Street to northbound New Street – Wall Street to eastbound Mille Lane – Prime Avenue to State Route 110.
• Southbound traffic: Madison Street to southbound Sabbath Day Path – State Route 25A (Main Street) to southbound New Street – High Street to State Route 110.
• Electronic message signs near the work zone will advise motorists of additional traveller information.
