Road closures and detours announced in Bogota on Sunday (06 September)

As per reports, on Sunday (06 September), the Women’s Race 2026 is expected to take place in Bogotá, resulting in extensive temporary road closures and traffic diversions along the race route.

• The western carriageway of Carrera 60 between Calle 63 and Calle 53 are expected to be closed from 1200 hours local time (1700 hours UTC) on Saturday (05 September) until 1600 hours local time (2100 hours UTC) on Sunday (06 September). Additional closures on Carrera 60, Calle 53 and Calle 44 is expected to begin at 0600 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) on Sunday (06 September), with reopening times generally between 0920 hours local time (1420 hours UTC) and 0940 (1440 hours UTC).
• Further closures from 0600 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) to 1100 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) is expected to affect sections of Calle 53, Carrera 28, Transversal 28, Calle 53B Bis, Diagonal 61C and the western carriageway of NQS (Carrera 30).
• Roads are expected to be reopened progressively according to the movement of race participants, which may result in changing traffic conditions throughout the event.
• Authorized alternative routes include NQS, Carrera 68, Boyacá Avenue, Rojas Avenue, Calle 80, Calle 72, Calle 68 and Calle 63, depending on the direction of travel.
