As per reports, a road closure is scheduled in Sacramento County, California, due to a bridge replacement project near Galt. A nearly three-mile of New Hope Road, between Orr Road and West New Hope Road, is planned to be closed from Friday (10 April) until 30 November to facilitate demolition and reconstruction of the bridge over Grizzly Slough.

The project includes the replacement of the existing bridge and the grading and paving of approximately 400 feet of roadway on both sides. Resident access is expected to be maintained throughout the construction period. Detours are planned via N. Thornton Road, Franklin Boulevard, Twin Cities Road, and Christensen Road.
