As per reports, on Monday (05 May) at approximately 1200 hours (local time) a semitruck accident occurred on southbound Interstate 15 just north of Nephi, Utah. The truck’s driveline punctured its fuel tanks, resulting in a diesel fuel leak. In response, the Utah Department of Transportation closed all southbound lanes to facilitate hazardous material cleanup. Traffic was diverted at the Mona exit.
No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
