As per reports, a part of Leicester’s Welford Road has been closed on Thursday (22 August). The road closure is in place from the junction with Almond Road to University Road near Morrisons.

Counting House Road remains accessible. No reason for the closure has been given as of yet. The exact nature of the incident remains unclear at this stage.
