As per reports, the Autobahn 1 (Cologne-Bremen) south of Münster will be completely closed in both directions from 2200 hours local time on Friday (12 April) until 0500 hours local time on Monday (15 April).

Alternative routes are via the highways 2 (Oberhausen-Hannover), 31 (Bottrop-Emden) or 43 (Wuppertal-Münster).
