As per reports, the Sligo Creek Parkway will be closed for the Purple Line construction in Silver Spring, MD, from Monday (22 September) until the rest of autumn.
• During the construction, the parkway will be closed between Wayne Avenue and Piney Branch Road, near the Silver Spring International Middle School.
• Despite the construction, the community will still have access to the Sligo Creek Trail.
• The official diversion route follows Wayne Ave., Flower Ave., Piney Branch Rd., and Amnchester Rd. route.
